Meditation
brings us to the awareness that we are all one. One being or presence
that appears to be many. When we realize that we are all of the same
essence, we begin to act with care and compassion toward our fellow
being as our own self. We begin to live in love with the world around
us.
Begin
now. Begin by noticing yourself in the chair. Notice that the chair is
holding you up, holding you. This chair is not going to let you down.
Beneath
the chair, and the building, is the support of the earth. The earth
supports us unconditionally, like a loving mother. Whether we are
walking or working, dancing or dreaming, the earth is supporting us.
As
you become aware of this unconditional support, of the earth, of the
chair in this moment, and also, of the breath within, perhaps you begin
to let go. Whatever that means to you. Letting go physically, mentally,
emotionally. Letting go of who you think you are, who you think you
need to be. Just be.
As
I sound the sacred singing bowl, allow the vibration to heal wherever
healing is needed. Allow your being to be absorbed by the vibration,
and then, then into silence.

When
you're ready, allow the eyes to float gently open, returning to the
world of the senses, while still resting in the world within.
