2010-2011 Astrological Moon Calendar
Aries

Five months of reclusion, of looking at politics and earth motions, of explorations and writing is such a large amount of time to not do what I have done as my routine. I learned that change is not to stop doing what we do, but to do it better.
This astrological year bring us a peculiar calendar, because most of its new moons happen at the end of a sign period and the full moons are celebrated in the following sign. It looks something like if the sign starts with the full moon and ends with the new moon. This happens until Libra when a full moon is at the beginning of this sign and then another full moon is at its end. After Libra the calendar comes back to a more uncomplicated way to read it.
I also realized that the astrological moon calendar may coincide with the astrological year and the beginning of the Three Spiritual Festivals, so I built it from March 20, 2010, to March 20, 2011.
I think that the calendar accomplished a Zen style of minimum information required, friendly order and presentation. Within its simplicity it keeps the information of richer service and meaning. The couple of years invested on it start to pay off.
I follow the Lucis Trust timings to keep the calendar aligned with Alice Bailey methods and teachings. The calendar has all times adjusted for Day Light Savings changes and simple hour subtractions makes the calendar fully functionable in all U.S. time zones.
The Calendar has reached it's maturity and starts a new journey. The bottom line is it's service. There are things some people give for granted or that they don't give them the importance they deserve, but who needs a Hubble Space Telescope to only see the universe is missing the universes in the most simple things and in each one of us.
I most thank Regina, Sharon, Barbara and Steve for all the help, advise and guidance they had provided me with sincere generosity as the one of devoted servers of humanity as they are.
From the site's readers I must thank the voice of many who asked for the update and publication of the Full Moon Calendar 2010 as decidedly did Lucía and the ones who think that it"s "the best calendar to use" as Dubina voiced with candor.
The calendar is an organizational tool for our meditations, a little thing that serves while doing nothing. We are the ones who really can do something and for that reason we look for the illumination to guide us to serve with goodwill. With these thoughts I enter the enlightenment of the three Major Spiritual Festivals.
Love, Wisdom, Peace and Blessings to all of you. |
